After a very long trip, our Kakuda friends arrived safely this evening around 5pm. We were so glad to see them! The welcome dinner was planned for this evening, so everyone went directly from the airport to Victory Baptist church where the Hensley family and the congregation graciously hosted a wonderful dinner. Everyone enjoyed the time getting to know their new friends while enjoying their meals. We all look forward to the rest of the week and spending more time with all the Kakuda travelers. Although we were delayed in meeting our new friends, there was no time wasted in forming new friendships.
