I received a bento (lunch) box from students doing a home ec project today. It was a project designed to help students learn how to eat right and prepare food themselves. It was exciting to receive since I didn’t have to worry about fixing dinner. But as every contributing member of society knows: nothing is free. In return for a meal I had to write a report about what I ate. When did students start giving teachers homework?
