Scholarship fundraisers scheduled for area restaurants
Posted: Mar 31st, 2015The Sister Cities of Greenfield Board of Directors has approved a scholarship program to help send a worthy student to Kakuda starting in 2016.
The partial scholarship of up to $500 will go toward the cost of the Kakuda trip for the chosen student. To help raise funds for this program, the Board has sponsored three events this spring in conjunction with area restaurants.
On Monday, April 6, a portion of all sales made at the Greenfield Dairy Queen (801 W. Main Street) after 4 p.m. will be donated to the Sister Cities of Greenfield. No flyer is required for Sister Cities to receive our donation from Dairy Queen.
On Tuesday, April 21, 20 percent of dine in, carryout and delivery sales at either Greenfield Mozzi’s Pizza location (2221 W. Main Street or 1282 N. State Street) will be donated to Sister Cities when the flyer at the bottom of this page is presented.
On Tuesday, May 19, 15 percent of dine-in sales at Applebee’s (1792 N. State Street) will be donated to Sister Cities when the flyer at the bottom of this page is presented.
