Ryan joined the Sister Cities Board of Directors in 2014 after seeking a chance to support the program and looks forward to learning more about the Japanese culture.

“I believe it to be a great way to help as well as an opportunity to teach our children about the diverse world we live in,” Ryan said.

Ryan currently is currently serving as Director of Engineering with NineStar Connect and has been with the company since 1993. Prior to NineStar, Ryan was stationed in Japan while serving in the Army and has had an appreciation of their culture ever since. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University and AS in Electrical Engineering at Purdue-Indianapolis.

He and his wife Melanie are members of Park Chapel Christian Church and have two daughters – Rylee and Loren.
