Sister Cities of Greenfield again welcomed a group of students and chaperones from Kakuda this summer. The guests arrived on August 16 and spent more than a week living with host families, visiting Greenfield schools and businesses and seeing some of the sights of central Indiana.

We would like to thank the teachers who welcomed our visitors into their classrooms, the Greenfield police and fire departments and Keihin, who again offered a tour of their facilities.

The students and their host families also participated in our inaugural 5k Run/Walk. More than 140 people from the community joined us for the very successful event on a beautiful August morning.
