Last week I went to a professional baseball game with the citizens of Kakuda. The Rakuten Eagles are Sendai’s baseball team and even though they lost it turned out to be a fun evening seeing old friends and meeting new ones.

It was the second Eagles game I’ve been to. Last month I won tickets in a Kakuda city postcard raffle.
